I will send home weekly letters and post them on this blog. This will be an eye into the learning of our classroom each week. It will have our weekly spelling words, content information we are learning that week, reminders, and homework posted. I hope this communication will help you have conversations with your child about what they are learning!

If you are changing your child’s transportation it is best to write me a note in their planner. If it is a last minute change, please contact me by voicemail by 2:15pm if possible.
I am able to check my email and phone for sure at my conference time which is between 2:00pm – 2:45pm.

Today was an awesome day! We read several books, discussed the rules and routines, and wrote about our first day jitters! I can already tell we will have a fabulous year! I cannot wait to see you all tomorrow!
This week we will continue to learn the rules, create a social contract, and have many get to know you activities! I will post the first day pictures soon!

Spelling Words: Weekly Spelling Words Post
Choose one word each night. Write it! Read it! Speed write it!
Make up a sentence using the word that you chose.
Have your child write the sentence.
They need to revise (read it back to check if it sounds right)!
They need to edit (check for capitals at the beginning of the sentence, punctuation, and check spelling of word wall words!
