Reading: Poetry
The students will read and understand elements of poetry.
Writing: Poetry
The students will learn to write various types of poems. They will also learn to publish them by using various types of technology.
Phonics: Word Work
Make connections to new words from known words. For ex. I know how to write golden because I know how to write old.

Read each night and get your reading log signed.
Practice at least one spelling word each night. Write a sentence with it and use the writing process.
