I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!!!  I am thankful for each of you!  I am blessed to be teaching you and working with your families this year!

Jamie is thankful for her family because they are special to her.

Calee is thankful for her friends because they care about her.
Jack is thankful for his family because they are nice to him.
Kaitlyn is thankful for her brother because he is always there to play with her.
Ethan is thankful for his family because they are special to him.
Maddox is thankful for his mom and dad because they take care of him.
Graycen is thankful for her family because they are special to her.
Tyson is thankful for the food because it keeps us alive.
Abigail is thankful for the food because it keeps us healthy.
Jessica is thankful for her sister because I care about her.
Caleb is thankful for his MOJOE my dog because I love him.
Sydney is thankful for her stuffed animal, Rupert because he has been with her since she was a baby.
Chasten is thankful  for Zeek and Zoe my dogs because they have been with me since I was a baby.
Addie is thankful for Mrs. Barlow because she teaches me.
Gavin is thankful for his family because they do a lot of stuff for me.
Kayleigh is thankful for her life because I get to have friends and family that love you.
Mrs. Barlow is thankful for her friends, family, and students because they are caring and loving and special to her!!!

We are THANKFUL for our friends and family!  This is a picture of our friendship bracelets we made while reading a Thanksgiving poem!

We will have a regular school day on Monday and an early release day on Tuesday at 11:00.  We are going to do many learning rotation activities and a cool friendship bracelet on Tuesday.  Plan to be here to be a part of this great learning time.

Thank you to all the families that were able to participate in our home/school connection project!   Now our turkey has feathers!!!

Syndney learned about missing addends.

Jessica learned the relationship between addition and subtraction.  That is called fact families.

Lillie learned about the Pilgrims and Thanksgiving.

We are working on math problem solving.  The students have 4 questions to solve tonight for homework.

Spelling Words are in their planners.

I have sent home a feather for you and your child to decorate together.  We will have a turkey in the hall that needs his feathers.  If you would like to help him just decorate one of his feathers with items from home!  This could be a fun project to do while spending time with your child.  We hope you enjoy!

Tyson learned to solve subtraction story problems.  Lillie said even if the problem says more that you may subtract to find out how many more something had than another.

We are working on deciding whether we add or subtract when we read story problems.  We will be looking at the important words that help us understand if we should add or subtract.

We are having a Can Food Drive this week.  If you can send cans we would appreciate it!  We are having a competition to see who can bring the most items this week.  Thanks in advance for your help!!!!  Showing kindness is a great character trait!
