Today was a Wonderful Wednesday!

We are reading a story called Chrysanthemum!  It is about a little girl and her name – Chrysanthemum.  Your child may be asking you how you came up with their name!  We will be completing the story tomorrow and decorating our name tag to honor our awesome name!

We also completed another graph that helped us review our vowels and their sounds in our names.

In Math we are reviewing and learning more about patterns!

We love to read parent and student comments!  If you want to ask us a question or your child wants to comment on our learning  please feel free to comment on our blog!

We have had a great start in 1st grade!

Another great day in first grade!

We made a kissing hand for you!  We read the book The Kissing Hand!  Ask your child about it!

We also made a name graph and used it to look at data to answer questions.

We are still reviewing rules!  It is going to be a great year!

I will see my CHAMPs tomorrow!

We did have a fabulous day!  We decided on Class Rules and our Social Contract.  We signed it promising to do our very best to follow them all!   It will help us to have a fabulous school year and learn so much if we work together and follow the rules!  I cannot wait for another great day tomorrow!
