We are writing a class book about first grade! It will be all about what we have learned and accomplished in first grade from the letter A to the letter Z. We can’t wait for you to read it!

We went to a WHO program. It stands for We Help Ourselves!
We will also be having an Author’s Tea. This is when the students share a book that they published this year. We should be having this on May 20th. I will send a letter out soon confirming the time and date. Please try to come to honor the students great accomplishments this year.
Please remember to read each night.
We also saw a bus safety video. Ask your child about what they learned.

We are finishing our class story about Going to Texas.
We have created a plan to write a fiction story about a cowboy named Tom riding his horse Bluebonnet from California. He visits different places in Texas to learn about the state symbols. He has a problem that he needs to solve.
