Mrs. Breeden caught some tadpoles and gave us some to watch the life cycle first hand!  Our little tadpoles haven’t turned into froglets, but it won’t be long!

Ask your child about the life cycle of a frog and the other animals and insects that we read about!

Ladybug Blog Spot!

What is the life cycle of a frog?

New spelling words are in my planner and on the blog.  Test will be next Monday!

We are finishing up learning about solid figures and will then be learning about fractions.

Please keep reading to improve fluency!

I hope you had a wonderful Easter Break with your family.  We only have five Monday’s left of school!  Wow!  The year has flown by quick.

Please, Please continue to have your child read each night!  They all have become awesome readers!  When becoming a good reader you also need to read with fluency and expression.  This will be a skill I am really working on with the whole class! They are already doing great, but we can always improve on everything we do!   It makes reading more fun and you can comprehend better when you read fluently.  This comes with practice, practice, practice!

There are two notes in your child’s planner!  Please check their planner each night!

Math!  Learning about solid figures!

Science!  Life Cycles!

Reading! Story Elements and Fluency!

Writing!  Writing non-fiction and researching!
